okie... today was the first time in the entire week that i attended jap class.. and this sem we got a new teacher, she's also a jap lady like nakamatsu sensei.. but i dunno what her name is. anyways, this new sensei is a very typical jap lady (in my opinion).

u know how jap ladies (some of them at least) have those very typical haircuts? like the china-doll fringe and like a short bob all around (at least that's what i think the hairstyle is called lah) u know those that they cut just below the ears.. like a doll kinda style? i'm not like describing it real well yah?! but anywas.. she has that.. and she clipped it up (half pony tail style) with like the huge metal clasp clip that looked real old school lah (i think that's just me saying it's old fashioned altho i wld think that there are 2 kinds of old school one. one the real hip and happening old school - like hip hop old school old school. or just plain old school....ie old fashioned) and she wears those sweaters/pullovers with the old lady kinda colours (no discrimination here.. just trying my best to describe) u know those knitted sweaters? with the big big pictures of like animals or abstract designs in the front? and with those weird colours that young pple won't usually wear? like peach..and a damm weird shade of pink... and a little brown.. those kinda colours..  (get my drift?) and her pants? it's those velvet kinda material.... then it's black in colour..and like it's tapered. and she wore those shoes.... i dunno how to describe.. but u know what kinda shoes the older generation of teachers wear? where the sole and the heel is like connected? and like there's this big ribbon in front of the shoes? yah something like that... (i do hope u guys are getting a vague pic man!)

anyways, why i sad that it was like entering twilight zone was because... she's very weird. i mean.. she's cute..the way she speaks and interact with us and all.. but weird... cos she suddenly in the middle of the lesson produced this red with white strips rugby shaped ball (soft toy) with a bell inside it..and started shaking it.. hahahahah and then to most of our surprise and to my horror, she started throwing it ard.. for us to catch! i mean like.... that was weird... so everytime she threw to us.. we had to answer the question. it was like this alien form of getting the students to answer the questions (the weird and wonderful ways of education) . and then she threw the ball at me... i was in a state of panic! but luckily, my answer was correct.. tho i felt absolutely weird, catching the ball and answering a question.

but i suppose she did that cos not many pple were not willing to volunteer their answers... i wonder if it's like a typical japanese thing in the schools in jap. i wonder what else they do to get students to be more participative in class... wld love to find out man..(but due to financial constraints... i've decided to pass the mission onto joyce, who will be most prob going to osaka! may she find out more than the ball throwing thingy and return to enlighten me!) hahahahha!! okie enough crap! maybe schools in sg shd do that yah?! i mean it's weird but innovative in a way.. students are then forced to answer... 'u catch the ball, u answer the qn!' hahahhaha!!!

well there are 2 chelseas in my class... me and this other girl (a yr younger than me, whose also from cj). and so when she called chelsea san, we both were wondering which of us she called.. till we clarified with her. and when she read out the other chelsea's full name.. it sounded so weird that we all burst out laughing. and then the next qn to answered, the responsibilty was heaved upon me. sometimes it's not really good to have quite an unique name in class.. and even more so with 2 persons having that unique name! altho i hardly feel unique now.. cos there are more and more pple getting named chelsea.. sian!!!

had porridge today... with 'ma-ling' luncheon meat... chinese cabbage w mushies and the hei bi hiam! u know the dried prawns that's like pounded with chilli? and like fried.. (i think so ah...)yah the one tht my dearest nikum (dunno if that's the correct spelling but she's indo) made is like super duper wupper the spicy lah!!! woohoo! a taste of home... can't survive w/out my chilli man! ahahahah really thanx to her.. the whole household is provided with spiciness for at least 3 months. but i do hope that this time round the sambal doesn't finish so fast. *to my roomies... if u're reading... rem to eat in moderation yah! this is to ensure that we have enough till the end of the yr.. if not we'll be having a miserable sem w/out sambal like the first sem man!!!*

oh yeah... this sem... MY TIMETABLE SUCKS!!!!!!!!! I HAVE A FIVE DAY WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (can u feel my frustration?! huh?! can u? can u?!) it's so not fair.. but yah i know i shd not be complaining cos others have it worse than me esp the sci/engine pple. but for a person who hasn't had like a 5 day week ever since her uni life started.. it's kinda a hard pill to swallow.. ahhahaha shall end here for the day! decided to be a lil creative and colour code my blog so that u can see the emphasis on certain stuff on this entry! ahahahahaha i'm mad yes i know that! thank you very much!!!!!
